Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a slight rise on Thursday, backed by the growth of the energy and banks sectors.
The general index levelled up 0.04% or 1.88 points to reach 4,499.73 points.
Trading volume reached 68.39 million shares on Thursday, compared to 34.42 million shares on Wednesday. Turnover stood at AED 114.92 million, compared to AED 97.94 million.
The energy sector topped gainers with a 0.67% rise as Dana Gas grew 1.82%.
The banks sector advanced 0.11% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) increased 0.4%.
The real estate sector went up 0.03% as Eshraq Properties added 1.28%.
Etisalat was the value leader after generating AED 23.79 million, while Dana Gas was the most active stock with a trading volume of 37.65 million shares.
